About the role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, it will be your responsibility to manage a 'multi channel' portfolio consisting on Independents, Aldi and Foodservice. Core functions of this role will include all key areas of National Account Management encompassing development and implementation of strategic business sales plans, promotional planning and activity, category delivery and implementation, trade spend, margin profitability and increased market share. This role will also be instrumental in driving growth in the Petrol & Convenience channel. Other duties include:
- Relationship development with new and existing retail customers
- Stakeholder engagement across most senior levels in trade
- Development and implementation of joint business plans and customer strategy
- Management of promotional engineering and trade investment
Skills & Experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a National Account Executive, Key Account Manager or National Account Management from within the FMCG industry, managing either Emerging Channels (Aldi & Costco), Independents or Petrol & Convenience accounts.. Ideally degree qualified, you will possess a strong understanding of financial management including forecasting, budget and claims processing, accompanied with the ability to identify category and brand growth drivers utilising market insights and data resources
