Our client is a global market leader within the consumer goods industry, who pride themselves on their continuous investment in innovation and new product development. They are category captains within Woolworths and a number of other key retail accounts and are looking at another year of significant growth.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this business-critical role will be responsible for managing two key accounts, Woolworths and Big W, as well as other smaller retail accounts in Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for driving the customer relationship which includes the category/range review process, negotiations and new product initiatives. This business also boasts a team orientated culture, which will see you collaborate closely with the marketing and innovation team, to drive growth and development for your national category strategy.
The next six months will see you activate the plans in these two customers and support in finalising the H2 plans across JBP and promotional planning as well as forecasting.
Please note: some travel to Sydney will be required in this role and part time (four days) may be available for the right candidate.
Skills & experience
- Prior experience in a similar role within FMCG / Consumer Goods, ideally working with Big W &/or WW
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and analytical skills
- Well-developed relationships building, influence and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
