My client is a family-owned hardware business who are a dominant brand throughout the categories in which they compete. They have an innovative range of tools & accessories and are committed to providing high quality and consistent products which has resulted in their continuous growth, as well as their performance through COVID-19. They have a culture that is family orientated, and due to their success they are now looking to appoint a National Account Manager in Melbourne.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, this critical role will be responsible for managing the Bunnings as well as IHG. You will be tasked with manage the full end to end sales process, including all business planning, range reviews, reporting, analytics and new product initiatives, whilst also collaborating with the wider category & marketing teams on wider campaign and brand projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in a shake up how they do business with Bunnings and other customers as they business continues to grow and innovate!

Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account Management experience from within either the FMCG, consumer goods of hardware industry. Bunnings experience will be advantageous. Ideally degree qualified, you will have a genuine passion for the hardware industry, you may even be a closet DIY guru! But what is important is strong analytical capability accompanied with commercial acumen and communication skills.
