Servicing traditional hardware and trade channels with local and global manufacturing, the business has built its' market share on the back of high quality product, which is why it has become a brand of choice for its industry segment. As the result of growth, an opportunity has become available for a National Account Manager based in Auckland.

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will be responsible for managing key hardware accounts including Bunnings, and Mitre 10. You will be instrumental in the development and execution of customer business plans, including strategy development, promotional development/execution, pricing / trade spend management, forecasting and joint business planning. This role will be the key driver for growth across the total NZ business and will also be responsible for driving NPD and innovation initiatives.

Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience National Account Manager from within the FMCG / consumer goods or hardware industry. Ideally degree qualified, you will have demonstrated experience in developing and delivering robust customer plans that have delivered growth and driven change, whilst also applying best practice category principles. You will have exceptional analytical skills accompanied with a high attention to detail, and be genuinely passionate about the industry.
