They have a culture committed to bringing quality products to market, accompanied with continuous investment within new product development and employee progression, and are now looking for an additional National Account Manager based in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is responsible for driving growth throughout Coles account for a specific leading category. You will be tasked with developing strategic account plans in line with company growth targets, execute promotional activity, own the category review process and play a key project role in new product launches. Other duties include:
- Own the relationship with key buyers at Coles
- Develop efficient and effective promotional programs
- Control the budget and forecasting process
- Identify new business opportunities
Skills & Experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a Senior National Account Executive or National Account Manager from within the FMCG or consumer goods industry, ideally having managed Coles and/or Woolworths. Degree qualified, you will possess a high level of commercial acumen, project management and a strong eye for detail. You will have infectious energetic attitude towards your work and thrive off working in fast paced environment. Exposure to systems such as Aztec or Nielsen will be advantageous.
