Our client is a renowned FMCG business who have an envious portfolio of successful beverage brands, recognised locally & globally. As a business they have flourished through COVID, and they pride themselves on their continued investment in innovation and new product development, with new delicious ranges soon to be launched. As a result of growth, there is now a newly created opportunity for a National Account Manager in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will be responsible for managing Coles. You will be required to develop key account plans to drive distribution and brand growth, accompanied with developing promotional programs, analysing market and category data to identify opportunities, as well as managing tradespend and budgets. Working with the wider business, you will also adopt key category management principles to optimize opportunity for the business, and collaborate with the wider marketing & NPD teams to deliver key projects.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a National Account Manager in the FMCG industry, having specifically managed either Coles or Woolworths, or you could be a Category Development Manager from within an FMCG environment looking for a strategic sales role. Ideally degree qualified, you will possess a modernised approach to category & customer planning, and have a genuine passion for challenging the status quo. Being a team player is also a non-negotiable in this business!
