My client is a global FMCG business who have an impressive portfolio of brands in the liquor category. With significant presence and market share across the on & off premise channels, they are a driving force when it comes to strategic category planning which has resulted in continuous growth opportunities, both locally & globally.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this business-critical role will be responsible for managing Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor across multiple categories. You will take the lead in the development of robust business planning including management of the category review process, whilst also leading all customer planning initiatives, promotional planning and delivering space & layout projects. You will collaborate internally with the wider business to identify go to market opportunities where you will utilise various data sources to understand market & consumer trends.

Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account Management experience from within the FMCG industry - alcohol experience will be advantageous but is not a deal breaker. You will have managed commercial customer relationships with ownership of the JBP & category planning process, accompanied with P&L and forecasting management. Experience in mentoring is also ideal.
