My client is a global hardware business who represent some of the markets most dominant brands and products found throughout the trade and consumer channels. Now as a result of their continued growth, there is a newly created opportunity based in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, newly created role will be responsible for managing the existing relationship with IHG across both the trade & consumer categories, whilst also driving new business throughout other customers such as Natbuild. You will be tasked with collaborating with key shoulders on all customer planning, reporting, pricing and new product initiatives, whilst also collaborating internally with the marketing team on in-store execution.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated National Account Management or State Key Account Manager experience from within the FMCG, consumer goods of hardware industry. Specific hardware customer experience will be advantageous. Ideally degree qualified, you will have a genuine passion for the hardware channel, you may even be a closet DIY guru! But what is important is strong analytical capability accompanied with commercial acumen and communication skills.
