Centrally located in Melbourne, they are now looking for a National Account Manager for Independents.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will have full customer responsibility for the Independents channel across Australia, which includes Metcash & MSO groups. Representing the entire product portfolio, you will be tasked with developing promotional plans, driving the category review process, tradespend management and forecasting. This role will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the third party field agency, and be heavily involves in new product tracking and new product initiatives.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a National Account Executive / Junior National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. Ideally degree qualified, you will have had exposure to either state or national independents, and present with strong commercial & financial acumen. You will eb team orientated and have an ability to take people on a sales journey.
