To support the continued growth of the business in ANZ, they have created a new role for a National Account Manager to join them as they continue to disrupt into 2022.
Reporting to the Country Manager ANZ the National Account Manager position will lead the Mass Retail channel across ANZ. With full responsibility of high profile accounts; Big W, Target & Costco. As a sales team of 4, alongside two peer NAMs, you will be instrumental in continuing to grow and optimise new product development into key customers. You will lead the development and execution of key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. You will work closely with Category Managers and Buyers to drive promotional and new product activity, as well as utilising your excellent negotiation skills to optimise ranging and promotional plans. You will work closely with your global counter parts and international teams to deliver long term business objectives and share best practice.
This is a hands-on role in a small and entrepreneurial team, whilst backed by a global team. Think best of both! As a result you will be given the autonomy and responsibility to be in the driving seat of your role, with the requirement to roll up your sleeves and own all requirements of the accounts from customer facing, P&L, reporting and administration.
- Experience with National or Key State based accounts within Australian Retail
- Success managing accounts with Mass Merchants is highly regarded
- Proven success supporting & growing leading business accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills with retailers, buyers and key stakeholders
- Confident building actionable recommendations from data & market insights
- Innovative and proactive nature, with an enjoyment to work in small, agile & entrepreneurial environment
