Core functions of the role will include:

  • Development and execution of customer business plans
  • Preparation and implementation of promotional plans across all categories
  • Control of trade spend budgets
  • Exploitation of all opportunities to increase ranging - and the launch of NPD
  • Further development of buyer relationships across the account
  • Leading a sizeable National Field based team.

Skills & Experience

This is a critical role for our client, so we are specifically looking for an experienced National Business Manager with strong Independents experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will:

Have documented examples of having achieved account growth on a national scale, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving.

Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills complemented with superior communication and the ability to cultivate strong business partnerships

Have a "can-do" attitude, working collaboratively across all business functions to achieve optimal commercial results.

You will be an analytically minded and strategic thinker who is passionate about all things FMCG.

You will be an exceptional communicator who is able to build rapport quickly, build relationships and influence both internally and externally with stakeholder at all levels.

Along with previous experience leading a sizeable team.
