Our client is an Australian owned FMCG organisation with a strong portfolio of global food and beverage brands. Operating across nearly all retail channels in Australia, their presence within the liquor space- both on & off premise is poised for significant growth due to the recent addition of several global premium brands to their portfolio. With an entrepreneurial culture, they are looking for individuals who are excited to work with premium brands in an energetic, team based and results orientated company culture.

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will have full responsibility for the liquor channel - both on and off premise customers. With a strong portfolio already in existence within the channel, there is a significant opportunity to grow and develop further brands, categories and customers with the newly acquired brands. This is a key leadership role, with National Account Managers & Territory Managers as direct & indirect reports. Due to the anticipated growth of this channel, this will also be a high-profile role internally working closely with all key functions as an integral member of the sales leadership team and closely within the trade developing strategic partnerships with current and potential key customers.

Skills & Experience

Our client is seeking an individual who has experience within the liquor channel and is therefore able to help inform their business on tactical and strategic initiatives. You are ideally well versed with major liquor retailers and are now seeking the opportunity to grow and develop new premium brands within these accounts. Experience within the on-premise channel in addition to retail will be highly advantageous, however not necessary. Exceptional influencing, negotiation and commercial acumen is required as well as the opportunity to lead and mentor others towards successful outcomes. Most importantly, you possess an inner drive to achieve and enjoy working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment to deliver results for yourself and others.
