The purpose of the NEM Analyst position is to assist the trading team to understand and optimise the revenue potential of the Assets by:
- Gathering and analysing large quantities of NEM data
- Developing tools to support operational and tactical decision making in the trading operations team
This organisation have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, evolving from primarily development activities into a significant construction, management and retail operations planning and execution phase. The curation of best practice, fit for purpose, agile and robust operational systems; achievement of business objectives; and the cultivation of highly engaged, productive, and inter-collaborative teams is both key to success and challenging in the current COVID and political climate.
Some Specific challenges for this position include:
- management of many and large data sources and developing tools to translate this data into easy to use tools and information for decision making and education
- ensuring data sources and tools are robust, good quality and easily accessible to the wider business
