This Australian FMCG business are currently making a significant move within the Australian grocery & foodservice market, and challenging the status quo when it comes to innovation and go-to-market strategies. They have a delicious product range that we all love to indulge in, and pride themselves on the branded products that are renowned throughout the Australian market. As a result of growth, we are now looking to appoint a National Field Sales Manager in their Foodservice team.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will be instrumental in expanding the distribution of the branded food products throughout the foodservice and HORECA channel. Leading a team of 12 Business Development Managers, this role will be tasked with driving best practice field initiatives, accompanied with maximising the distribution footprint across all customers. You will actively Identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve level of service, accompanied with delivering activation programs that'll deliver sales results at an end user customer level. A key component of this role is also to gain insights through the field team to assist new product development requirements that would enhance company growth.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated state field management or national sales / management experience from within the FMCG or consumer goods industry, ideally within the foodservice and / or HORECA channel. You will have had experience in building, coaching and driving a team, and know what success looks like when it comes to building capability.
