The Role

The key responsibilities include mentoring and coaching QA Officers and Coordinators, driving continuous improvement by continually updating and revising the Quality and Food Safety Systems, focusing on best practice and interpretation of data, taking the lead on audits and customer relationships.

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about quality and be decisive and take the lead in decision making. You will have a proven track record preferably in the food sector and have a strong understanding of food processing and distribution. You will be someone that loves sharing your knowledge with the team and wider business and be confident with your negotiation skills.

You will have the ability to influence without authority. You would be very familiar with continuous improvement tools and implementing that within the business. Superior customer service is critical, and the ability to push back. Tertiary qualifications in food technology or science, or a related field.
