About the role
Reporting to the CEO, this critical leadership role will have direct responsibility for managing a team of 9 office-based Account Customer Mangers, whilst also managing both supplier & retail relationships across grocery & pharmacy. This varied role will take the lead on developing a strong commercial team, by driving best practice selling methodologies and selling principles, accompanied with introducing certain process and rigor internally. Critical to this role is an ability to create robust business plans to drive growth through major retail partners, as well as strengthening relationships across the contract manufacturing side of the business.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated FMCG experience managing either grocery or pharmacy customers, accompanied with leadership experience, either from the field or office. Ideally degree qualified, you will understand the fundamentals of what it takes to drive success in a changing environment, and be an expert in developing category & business plans that drive both category and business growth.
