About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 6 Sales Representatives whilst also managing critical national customers such as IHG and Paint specialists. You will be tasked with driving best practice selling initiatives within your team, with a significant focus on learning & development, whilst also developing the 3-5 year sales plan for both customer & field based activities. Your high level of commercial acumen will see you also manage all forecasting, reporting and new business objectives.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated national account management experience, complimented with leadership experience from within the consumer goods / hardware industry - paint experience highly advantageous. Ideally degree qualified, you will have a natural ability to coach and lead, taking a team on a journey, whilst also having demonstrated success in delivering exceptional results in a national customer capacity.
