About the Company

Our client is an ASX listed manufacturer of a range of products sold through to some of our largest and most recognisable FMCG organisations. As a result of two recent appointments at the executive level, a further newly created opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional has been created in the capacity of National Supply Chain Manager.


About the Role

Reporting through to the General Manager and ultimately leading S&OP, logistics and inventory functions, the National Supply Chain Manager is a newly created role responsible for the development of supply chain strategy and the team & structure to support the execution of this.

You will focus on the development of a best in class S&OP process, leading ideally into a multi-functional collaborative IBP process, as part of a continued 'customer-centric', business-wide approach. In addition to this you will lead initialtives focused on the reduction of slow moving and obsolete stock across a complex national storage and distribution network, and identify key metrics to measure and evaluate the performance of the supply chain function.

World class customer service levels will be achieved through your ability to plan and maintain adequate inventory levels and deliver that through an efficient national distribution network.


Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be a supply chain professional with a demonstrated track record of success in inventory, logistics and supply chain planning / S&OP leadership in the manufacturing industry. You will be a strong leader of people and have the ability to manage effectively both up and down the structure. A customer focused approach to supply chain operations, an ability to manage change effectively and first class problem solving skills will be key to your success in this role.
