Our client is an established and leading franchise business, with locations across Australia. With 26 sites currently, the business is poised for growth, with well-defined and ambitious targets to double the network. Due to this growth, the business has implemented this newly created role of Franchise Development Manager to lead this process.

Primary Purpose
As Franchise Development Manager, you will lead and execute the businesses network growth strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing lead generation strategies to further grow the pipeline of prospective franchisees, vetting of all prospects and supporting franchisees through the onboarding process to ensure profitability of new franchise businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end Management of the franchise recruitment process including hunting new prospect opportunities, following up leads/enquiries, documentation management and supporting prospects through the recruitment & onboarding process.
  • Meeting targets relating to franchisee enquiries, applications, and approvals
  • Manage the implementation of new franchisees and getting them firmly established and performing
  • Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders and functions to support the successful onboarding of new franchisees
  • Managing and updating prospect franchisee activity in the CRM
  • Ensuring compliance with the Franchising Code of Conduct
  • Review of franchise recruitment strategies and processes and present any changes to the SLT

Skills and Experience

  • Min 3 years experience in franchise network development or account management
  • Ideally has experience in recruitment and labour hire industry, or exposure to healthcare or blue-collar environments
  • Ability to demonstrate network growth in a similar role and experience with meeting and exceeding targets
  • A strong working knowledge of the Franchising Code of Conduct
  • Ability to travel nationally from time to time when required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
