This Australian owned business has a rich history operating nationally in the health, wellbeing and beauty markets. Owning some of Australia's most well known and respected brands in these markets, they have experienced a strong growth phase and expect to see this trend continue with opportunities in existing and new categories. As a result, they currently have a terrific opportunity for an NPD Project Manager to join the business in a broad role.

About the role

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and deliver a high volume of NPD projects in line with business and customer requirements. In order to achieve this, you will set and drive timelines, influence and engage stakeholders to ensure key milestones are met within the business Stage / Gate process. At times, the NPD Project Manager will need to source new suppliers primarily from the Asia Pac region and ensure that contract manufacturing partners have the capability to reliabily produce to a high quality. Additionally, the NPD Project Manager will be responsible for compliance relating to product, packaging and labels / artwork for the regulatory requirements of the region they will be sold.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, well being or cosmetic products and have worked in a similar NPD Project Management role previously. Additional understanding of supplier sourcing and regulatory requirements will be highly favoured. The successful candidate will have highly developed communication skills, be solution focused, have an adaptive / agile work style and be competent working in a fast paced environment and to tight timelines. A degree qualification in operations, science or business is preferred, as is sound skills in Excel and ERP systems.
