About our Client:

Yatsal distributers have been leading wholesalers of consumer goods for discount variety stores for over 50 years. A family owned business, Yatsal have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to continue to grow and reach new heights. After a period of significant growth, Yatsal are looking for a NSW Sales Account Manager to come on board to develop the existing accounts in the NSW Territory and identify new opportunities to grow the territory.

About the Role:

  • Drive results, generating sustainable and profitable outcomes with a category focused sales approach
  • Accountable for maintaining and exceeding sales targets
  • Focus on customer service, working with independent stores across NSW to drive the best range/category solutions for their business
  • Identify opportunities for new business to grow the region
  • Be a product expert of Yatsal's 28 categories, being a company ambassador in your region

About You:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar field sales role
  • Exceptional track record of customer service, preferably to independent stores
  • Previous experience selling products (general merchandise) rather than services
  • Comfortable and experienced with regular travel- e.g. 1 week in Sydney, 1 week travelling the region
  • Experienced with sales technology; automated ordering, basic excel, word and outlook
  • Strong sense of emphathy and natural ability to connect with small business owners
