Our client is a global consumer goods business that introduces disruptive innovation to the industry whilst holding category captaincy across their retail network. With a key objective to communicate the brand's unique value proposition, whilst optimising customer experience and acquiring market share, challenging the status quo every step of the way, the business has solidified themselves as a premium brand in market. Due to significant growth in market, the business is introducing a newly created Portfolio Manager.


Lead and execute the brand strategy within your portfolio, establishing long term end-to-end experiences that acquires, retains and grows advocacy amongst end users.


  • Drive the category plans and GTM strategy for your portfolio (across multiple categories and channels)
  • Define customer segmentation and path to purchase
  • Develop and implement tactical campaigns to drive desired customer behaviour and commercial outcomes
  • Act as brand champion to ensure 100% compliance with global and regional brand guidelines
  • Work closely across the marketing team to delivery and amplify product (NPD and EDP) communications in line with business objectives
  • Develop a strong understanding of all relevant retail channels
  • Competitor analysis identifying risks and opportunities
  • Work with the research and insights team to measure the brand strength within market and identify how to improve positioning


  • Portfolio management and category growth experience, ideally across multiple categories and multiple retail channels
  • 3+ years' in a marketing environment with strong portfolio management, campaign management and brand management experience
  • Experience managing external vendors and budgets
  • Consumer centric mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working in a cross functional environment
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experienced in customer segmentation strategy, through to targeted messaging, campaign management and in store activations
  • Consumer goods/retail experience required, with large SKU count
  • Ability to effectively utilise data and insights
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing skills and presentation skills
  • Hardware industry knowledge desirable but not essential
