About the role
Due to a maternity leave cover, the business are looking for a PR & Media Specialist to join their team, initially for a nine month contract with potential view to extend.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the PR + Media specialist will be responsible for localising global strategy to build brand awareness, communications plans and managing PR / sampling activity within the local market, working closely with media partners / influencers. You will have the opportunity to lead PR campaigns and events across three major product releases at three major consumer and media events.
Please note: Some local / international travel may be required as a part of this role.
Skills & experience
- Tertiary qualification within relevant space eg. PR / Communications
- Prior experience within a PR / Media focused role either agency or client side, ideally working with FMCG / Consumer Goods brands
- Exceptional communication and copy writing skills
- Ideally experience being camera facing working as a spokesperson
- Demonstrated experience with managing media relationships and press releases
