Founded in Melbourne and with a multi-site manufacturing operation, they are well positioned to continue their strong growth performance through local and export markets. Currently there exists an opportunity for a Process Engineer to join the business during this exciting expansion phase

About the role

As a Process Engineer their highly automated facility, you will rely on past CI and LEAN experience in order to optimise efficiencies. You will report into the Operations Manager and be part of a team of 3. You will be responsible for Identifying and driving opportunities for continuous and sustained improvement across Operations to achieve the agreed results. You will also be accountable for ensuring that the existing process & equipment is managed for optimum efficiency, cost & output and that plans and strategies are in place to develop the process to meet short, medium & long term needs.

Skills & Experience

Your proven track record in process engineering and CI will lead you to succeed, as will:

  • An in-depth knowledge of working in a highly automated continuous processing environment.
  • Engineering Degree in a mechanical or chemical
  • A history of leading teams and influencing around LEAN principles with the ability to engage and demonstrate key necessary improvements
  • Energy, drive and determination to succeed coupled with commercial acumen around capital projects and expenditure
