About the company

One of Australia's most commercially successful manufacturers, this global business has a well established and continually growing operation within the local market. In order to maximise the efficiency of production and reduce the number of technical problems that arise, they are seeking to continue the growth in their engineering department.

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will work closely with key stakeholders in operations, engineering and maintenance to support critical processes. You'll resolve complex technical and reliability issues that have been escalated, monitor the process and identify opportunities to drive improvement in efficiency, and use your hands on approach to support operations. Working with cross functional teams within the business you'll tie together user requirements as the plant owner and ensure that these outcomes are being achieved for any new project.

About you

We're looking for someone fitting the following

  • Relevant engineering degree (probably chemical or mechanical)
  • Manufacturing based industry experience as a process engineer (food, chemical, pharmaceutical etc)
  • Solid understanding of process engineering fundamentals (ie mass/heat transfer, fluid dynamics etc)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagment skills
