About the role

As a Project Engineer you will work within a project team structure in the delivery of a range of process based capital projects. You will execute packages of capital project work, some independently and some larger ones under the direction of a Project Manager. The projects will be broad in nature as are the deliverables for the capital program, but will all be focussed on processing and packaging equipment, and plant utilities and services. You'll take projects from their initial concept, through functional specifications, procurement, installation, commissioning and project handover.

About you

We are essentially looking for engineers with prior experience working on manufacturing based capital projects, specifically:

  • A Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Experience in a relevant manufacturing industry (ideal would be beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, food, packaging etc)
  • Experience working on, or managing, capital investment projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and infuencing skills
  • Technical competence relating to process equipment and/or plant utilities

This is a great opportunity to work on interesting and fulfilling capital investment projects for one of the countries most well known FMCGs. This role will make you a better engineer, exposing you to some of the better project management practices in the industry. This role pays a competitive remuneration package for its level - it would be ideal for an engineer who is experienced, but not necessarily senior.
