About the role

As product and pricing administrator, you will be accountable for the maintenance of the POS system and product master file in line with supporting the objectives of the Merchandise Department. You will assist with any day to day functions of the Merchandise Team including general analytical reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing price changes initiated by external suppliers
  • Creation of new part numbers
  • Maintaining up to date barcode information and of existing part numbers
  • Creation and logging of new Product Groups and Price Codes
  • Carry out scheduled Supplier price checks
  • Assist Purchasing personnel with Supplier pricing
  • Maintain entity views for warehousing and new store requirements
  • Carry out and implement reviews of descriptions for relevance and consistency
  • Maintain log of Price Matrix in Excel spreadsheet
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all aspects of product Master file
  • Assist Product Managers with all required maintenance and creation of products
  • Communicate relevant updates to store network and support with queries
  • Provide general analytical support across all aspects of business as requested including report generation, insights and recommendations

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working within a merchandise or product team
  • Solid knowledge of the Automotive industry
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and capabilities
  • Sound computer skills specialising in Microsoft Excel
