With their head office located in Mount Waverly, there are looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer to join the team.

About the Role

The role will join the product development team with the key responsibilities to develop and maintain product specifications and records. The product development aspect of the role will involve designing new products as well as improvement to existing products in a timely and effective manner. It will also focus on quality requirements for all products ensuring they conform to design, customers, quality, and standard specifications.

The role will also include the commercial aspects, logistics and procurement in delivering the product to the Australia market. It is integral to the position to be able to communicate cross functionally and maintain relationships with key overseas suppliers and manufacturers. Critical to the role, is the ability to look at trends within the industry to stay relevant with customers. The goal should be first to the market with new and exciting products.

Skills & Experience

This is an exciting opportunity within the business for future growth, your experience and skill set will include the following:

  • Engineering background with experience in product and appliance design, problem solving, and production control.
  • Quality control experience including procedures and implementations and understanding of documentation and incident reporting.
  • Able to be adaptable and flexible in a working environment and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • In depth regulatory knowledge, ideally in gas or electrical space.
