Our client is a market leader in the electronic space selling into both commercial and retail channels nationally. They are on the forefront of innovation and due to continued growth into new segments, they are looking to recruit a Product Manager for a newly created role within the business.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for owning overall portfolio management and work closely with international suppliers to source and develop products for the local market, with a focus identifying global trends to update existing SKUs within the portfolio and continue to develop new and exciting products in the electronic space. You will own the development of packaging, launch plans and training materials, budgets and forecasting and partner with marketing to develop consumer facing content, campaigns and assets.
Skills + Experience
- Prior experience within a Product Management role within a technically led consumer goods category
- Well developed communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and influence skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and effectively forecast
- Exceptional project management, organisational and time management skills
- Tertiary qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel including vlookups and pivot table
You will be highly commercial and analytical in your approach with a passion for identifying solutions to meet consumer needs in market. You will have strong attention to detail, project management and organisational skills, which will allow you to manage multiple projects or conflicting priorities within a fast paced environment. You will enjoy building strong relationships both internally and with external partners and pride yourself on your stakeholder management and communication skills.
