About the Role
Reporting the CFO, the Production Manager is responsible for the supervision of the factory floor which includes managing up to 10 staff ensuring that the assembly & testing of components & sub systems is performed in a safe, cost effective & timely manner.
The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for building & maintaining relationships with numerous suppliers, working on costings & POs, shipping, production planning, project scheduling as well as stock management.
Skills & Experience
This is an exciting and integral role within the business for future growth and your experience and skill set will include the following:
- 3+ years supervisory experience.
- 3+ years working closely & building relations with existing & new suppliers from Australia but also internationally.
- Experience dealing with shipments would be preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good experience across presenting & reporting.
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Knowledge of electronic industry would be beneficial but not essential
