About the company

Located in regional Western Victoria (Bendigo region) and straight down the Calder Freeway is the manufacturing operation for one of the world's largest food companies. Within their state of the art automated production and packaging plant they have planned extensive capital investment in the coming years to improve site performance, replace end of life machinery, and to build in increased capacity. This site is commutable from inner Western suburbs Melbourne, or obviously from within the goldfields region.

About the role

As a Project Engineer you'll work under a highly experience Senior Project Manager with an extensive industry background. You will execute various deliverables on a wide range of capital projects including the production and packaging installations, as well as upgrading and replacing site infrastructure.

About you

We're looking for a mid-level project engineer who is looking for a quick commencement

  • Releavnt engineering degree (electrical would be an advantage, but not a requirement)
  • Experience within a manufacturing or process industry
  • Ability to manage a number of tasks and prioritise between them
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills


This role gives you a strong leadership team to learn from including your direct manager being an excellent mentor, it provides a structured program of capital investment to sink your teeth into, and the backing of one of the largest food businesses in the world. Although the role commences on a contract basis, there's a lot of opportunity within such a framework for a mid-career engineer to make their mark.
