About the role

As Purchasing and Planning coordinator, you will be working alongside the Supply Chain team and will be responsible for engaging with Suppliers, creating purchase orders, planning/forecasting inventory and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with creating master purchase plans with sales and production
  • Creating and executing domestic & international purchase orders
  • Holding and reporting on inventory as per the agreed forecast
  • Investigating alternate suppliers of raw materials
  • Reporting on stock valuations and cash flow impacts
  • Leading the supplier evaluations for our ISO 9001 accreditation
  • Negotiations with suppliers leading to best in market prices for materials & services

Skills and Experience

  • 5 + years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • International purchasing experience
  • Superior communication skills with internal & external stakeholders
  • Information system use and MS Excel intermediate use
  • Problem solving via data analysis
  • Relevant degree qualification in supply chain, business or science, Exposure to B2B businesses, Exposure to manufacturing/industrial environments are all advantageous
