The site is expanding with significant investment in their local opertations including new products and increasing capacity.

About the role

As the QA Lead you will manage QA requirements for a brand new product being integrated into the Australian market and the Melbourne manufacturing facility as well as other critical projects of a similar nature, you will manage a small team and ensure that they are developed and mentored while also managing and delegating their workload appropriately for the requirements of the projects. Existing site QA systems will need to be adopted and new additions made to support new products, day to day QA oversight, lead audit preparation and readiness, lead and oversee investigations, deliver continuous improvement to QA outcomes, and engage stakeholders to advocate for the needs of QA.

About you

We're looking for a proven QA professional from either the medical devices or pharmaceutical indsutries:

  • Relevant tertiary degree (such as science or engineering)
  • Proven experience in a QA role
  • Strong understanding of QA and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ideally experience supporting NPI projects
  • Leadership experience, or readiness to take the step into leadership
  • Critical thinking - you know when to be flexible, when (and how) to challenge the status quo


This is a rare opportunity to lead QA on a range of critical and complex projects including products never before produced in Australia.
