About the Company
Noisette and Brasserie Bread are two widely respected brands across the food service and retail space under the ownership of Artisanal Holdings. From the distribution centres they produce artisan bread and pastry products of exceptional quality with locally sourced ingredients supporting the Australian farming industry. Quality is a core focus within the business, and they are looking for an experienced individual to lead the operation. With the site located in Dandenong, they are looking for a QA manager with National responsibilities.
About the Role
The role will join the leadership team with the primary responsibility to ensure the organisation is compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines with customer expectations across all Artisanal bakeries (Dandenong, Banksmeadow, and Molendinar). The successful candidate will need to take ownership and be able to take a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Critical to the role will be the ability to communicate consistency across the organisation regarding processes and systems in quality. This will involve working cross functionally to achieve a simultaneous approach across the board, importantly with the production line on a regular basis. Further communication to the management team about current legislation of food will be crucial to the success in the position.
Skills and Experience
This is an exciting and integral role within the business for future growth and your experience and skill set include the following:
- Degree qualified in food science or similar.
- Highly experienced within a food manufacturing environment, ideally bakery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence.
- Open to domestic travel between Noisette sites.
- Proven track record in building best practice quality systems.
This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business and be an integral part of the future of Noisette and Brasserie Bread. They are a fast paced and growing business who structure their business for all employees to be included.
