Offering a broad range of products, they are entering new markets and need an experienced QA Officer to join a growing team and the role will rotate across all shifts.

About the role

As the QA officer, you will be reporting into the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for setting and administering the ongoing quality specifications for raw materials, bulk, and finished goods, and ensuring manufacturing facilities are producing to agreed parameters. You will also need to provide accurate advice on all matters pertaining to Nutrition Information Panels, whilst abiding with certification standards. To do this, you will be needing to liaise cross-functionally within the business.

Skills & Experiences

This role is imperative to maintaining quality standards throughout their product range and your experience and skill set will include the following:

  • Degree (or similar) in food science, dairy technology, food safety or a related field.
  • Ingredient specification management - ensuring they are current and communicated within the business and with associated partners.
  • Managing, tracking, and maintaining the food safety audit program within the office, manufacturing plants and warehouse.
  • Ensure that all parties adhere to the in-house positive release program and to manage the relationship with external testing partners.
  • Impeccable communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
