About the Role
This is a strategic role that will promote growth within the business and protect consumers by working closely with the external partners to ensure that high standards are met and maintained in food safety, quality assurance and compliance. You will support multiple manufacturing locations across Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand by leading risk assessments, root cause analysis activities, food safety audits on ingredients and packaging, and support new suppliers and partners to assure compliance to high international and local standards.
This is an ideal role for someone who is enthusiastic about food safety and QA, who most probably has 3 years' experience in FS/QA within FMCG - food manufacturing and/or beverages and is looking for a step up and wants to take on more strategic responsibility and be a key decision maker on technical and risk management. This role will support the commercialisation of new products and work on global projects and sit on regional teams. You will hold a degree in Food Science and/or Engineering and be a strong communicator, be a critical thinker and hold strong influencing capabilities. You will be part of an experienced team who have excellent coaching and mentoring skills, and they can develop your career further. You will need to have the flexibility to travel interstate to conduct supplier audits.
You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the best, achieve recognition for your ability to lead and solve problems and become a future leader of an international business. In return, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary package and bonuses, plus leadership programs and flexibility.
