About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will lead a team of 6 people across product complaints, product claims and repairs, and product compliance and safety. You will have overall responsibility for the Quality P&L, and the management of national returns to maximse cost recovery. Plus, you will work closely with NPD and have a proactive role in reviewing samples, product testing and packaging.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of quality management in a retail and/or manufacturing setting, ideally in bulky goods; possess strong commercial and business acumen, and a working knowledge of Australian Standards and Consumer Law (ACL). You will need to be a confident communicator who enjoys people management and leadership, solving problems and managing risk. Plus, a drivers licence is essential.
This is a strategic role that reports through to the Director of Merchandise, and attracts a competitive salary package, company benefits and travel.
