About the role
Reporting to the COO, you will play a critical role in leading the southern region with a team of over 300 people and a growing customer portfolio and market share. With full ownership of the P&L, your primary focus will be effective leadership and optimisation of a diverse workforce to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery of excellence in customer care. Key to your success will be your ability to lead with empathy and passion, balanced with driving commercial growth outcomes through referral networks, channel partners, events and marketing. Safety, strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, operations management, team development and succession planning will also be key aspects of the role.
You will be a passionate, supportive and empathetic leader with a strong desire to work in the growing aged care sector, for an organisation who is genuinely focussed on customer experience and care. You will have a track history of leading and optimising large diverse teams and understand how to influence the P&L through commercial activities. Likely coming from the services or retail sector where disruption and customer experience is at the forefront of your thinking. You will be an all round General Manager with strong analytical capability and a desire to do something meaningful.
