Offering a wide range of expertise, they are entering new markets and need an experienced Regulatory Affairs Technologist to ensure that the technical development and specifications of existing and new product ranges is in line with their high standards.
About the role
As the Regulatory Affairs Technologist you will report into the Regulatory Affairs Manager with regards to all quality matters on the site. Within a team of 4, you will be accountable for ingredient specification management, all regulatory affairs matters, liaising with suppliers and assisting in driving NPD.
Skills & Experiences
This role is imperative in adhering to global standards in local and overseas markets and your experience and skill set will include the following:
- Pro-Actively participate in training and continuous improvement to maintain the regulatory affairs and 3rd party co-manufacturing requirements up to current standards
- Investigate the legal requirements for products being developed in new product areas and provide direction on the interpretation of relevant legislation/regulation.
- Liaise with suppliers to collect information on new ingredients & packaging and update existing ingredients and packaging
- Have impeccable communication skills and the ability to create long lasting relationships with all cross functional stakeholders
