About the role
This opportunity exists for a degree qualified Reliability Team Leader. The role is responsible for a leading a great team of qualified engineers and maintenance professionals delivering engineering and maintenance services in a fast paced environment. The role will report to the Operations Manager and will coordinate all aspects of the reliability program including planned / proactive maintenance, breakdown response and monitoring downtime issues with problem solving techniques and root cause analysis. The responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensuring the maintenance of the electrical and mechanical assets;
- Maximising utilisation of the maintenance team;
- Overseeing safety, production, cost management, compliance, plant performance outcomes;
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in process, systems and equipment;
- Implement best practice reliability programs and training across the facility.
Skills & Experience
Applicants for this role will be able to demonstrate they possess experience in Plant Engineering or Reliability Engineering roles. Your expertise will include modern reliability / maintenance techniques, the ability to lead and direct trades groups through maintenance activities and capability to develop and implement reliability best practice. Further to this, you will have a track record of problem solving and troubleshooting plant issues, developing process improvement opportunities with the aim of improving overall plant performance and output. You background will likely include either FMCG or high speed manufacturing and you will possess a degree in Engineering.
