About the role
The Risk and Compliance Analyst reports into the Risk, Compliance and Quality Manager which sits within the Finance Business Unit and is responsible for liaising with relevant regulatory and government agencies, ensuring adherence to monthly risk and compliance reporting requirements as well as co-ordinating, planning and executing the internal audit program in relation to compliance obligations.


Key responsibility areas include:

  • Regulatory compliance including monthly reporting
  • Internal audit (regulatory compliance)
  • Policies and procedures from an accreditation, regulatory and legislative perspective
  • Operational risk management
  • Business continuity management


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the health, hospital or pharmaceutical industries required
  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant industry certificates/training are highly desired
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Internal audit experience highly desirable
  • Experience working within a highly regulated business environment
  • Understanding of ISO 31000:2018 (Risk) and AS ISO 19600:2015 (Compliance) as well as ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management)
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders who have competing priorities and to develop shared understanding and responsibility for compliance
  • Experience / an aptitude for delivering workshops to internal stakeholders desirable
  • You are a strategic and analytical thinker with a high level of investigative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and an inquisitive attitude
  • You are highly organised with advanced time management skills
  • You always have a high professional demeanour and presentation
