Embarking on period of change structurally, they have created an opportunity for commercially minded Sales Director to join the team leading the national customer and field teams across both the domestic and export markets.
About the role
The key purpose of this role is to lead and inspire the commercial sales team driving best practice across all customer interactions and process. Establishing and executing the strategic plan for sustainable profit growth, this role holds a key position at the ELT table reporting to the Commercial Director. As this is a tiered customer team from head office to end user, it is essential to build and maintain formidable relationships that enable influence around negotiation, brand positioning and investment. Being a significant leadership role there is also a high level required to coach, enable collaboration, drive cultural contribution and broad engagement across the team.
Skills and experience
It is essential that the individual for this role has been in a Channel or Business Unit lead role managing a tiered team with broad experience across multiple retail channels. An understanding of hardware customer and industry dynamics is crucial as the ability to successfully manage a P&L and all associated financial planning, budgets and investment.
