This company is a Market leading FMCG company with several different household brands selling through major retailers and B2B. With multiple manufacturing sites across Australia and internationally owned, they are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Analyst to join the team.

About the Role

The Sales Operations Analyst is a key role within the business sales operations. Reporting directly in to the General Manager of Sales, and direct management of a Sales Analyst this is an integral voice on behalf of the sales team. You will be the creator and subject matter expert within business analytics. Acting as a conduit to the demand & supply chain team as well as finance, enabling the back-end infrastructure to function between teams.

As part of the sales team, you will deliver results through use of various tools such as data, reporting, forecasting, trade spend management, pricing management, software, CRM and Field reporting. You will work hand in hand with the sales team to bring to life strategic and ad hoc projects, monthly business plans and sales reports to influence internal and external conversations.

Skills & Experience

Your previous experience within sales analysis, and ability to will lead you to succeed, as will:

  • Proven success working within Sales or Business Analytics for an FMCG or Agency organisation
  • Outstanding knowledge of systems and analytics tools - with advanced Excel skillset
  • Strengths using IRI Shopper and Panel data
  • Experience working with SAP and Promax is highly regarded
  • Curious and intuitive to learn new systems and create new ways of working
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional relationships
  • Leadership or mentorship experience is desirable but not essential
