About the role
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for managing a key group of customers within the retail hardware channel which are mainly tool specialsits such as Total Tools & Tool Mart stores, specifically for the Power & Hand tool categories. You will be tasked with strategic account planning for your customers which will involve a high level of promotional planning, merchandising and in-store product education/training, accompanied with indentifying new opportunities for growth. This role would suit someone who has a proactive attitude and thrives on taking initiative to drive success, as this role is similar to 'running your own business' in a wider team environment.
Skills & Experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a Territory Manager / Sales Representative or Account Manager either within FMCG, consumer goods, hardware or the retail industry. Ideally degree qualified, you will have outstanding communication and planning skills, accompanied with strong financial and commercial acumen, You will thrive on working in a large team environment, and have a willingness to go above and beyond in your new role.
