Our client is a well renowned Australian FMCG organisation with a suite of much-loved grocery brands. The business is going through a key growth period, recently acquiring new brands to add to their portfolio and strengthen their category positioning. As a result, a newly created role is now being recruited to drive profitability and growth within a new brand sitting within the better for you space.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing overall brand strategy, inheriting a brand in a strong YOY growth and a highly loyal consumer base as well as managing one direct report. This role has a strong level of ownership and will see you taking on the role as a change agent within the business to futureproof the brand for success.
You will be retailer facing in the role and as the brand custodian and with full P+L ownership, the role will focus on driving profitability and commercial performance through value optimisation and pack price projects as well as innovation launches into new emerging segments, supported with trade marketing / BTL / digitally led campaigns.
Note: There is a hybrid WFH / office based arrangement in place within the business and there is potential for a four day per week option for the right candidate.
Key Skills + Experience
- Tertiary qualification in relevant space e.g. Marketing
- Prior experience operating at a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager role within FMCG / Consumer Goods
- Experience with developing brand strategy, driving overall brand and portfolio development
- Experience with leading innovation and NPD development via stage gate
- Experience with driving cross functional projects working
- Digitally savvy nature with experience leading digital marketing and ecommerce strategy
- Strong communication, relationship building and influence skills
