This side of the business prides themselves on a heritage brand, manufactured in Brisbane and they are now looking to recruit a Senior Brand Manager to join them in their Brisbane office.
About the role
As the Senior Brand Manager, you will play a leading role in the development of this brands strategy, to protect and build its brand portfolio equity, as well as setting the strategic direction to achieve both the business & the brand objectives. This will primarily be achieved through the development of consumer-focused strategies that deliver category growth.
Leading a team of two ABMs and working closely with the international brand team.
You will develop and execute the brand plan, including innovation pipeline, in line with the commercial objectives and actionable strategies of the brand.
Key projects will include work across the NPD pipeline, brand communications coming from a major brand transformation and team development. You will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as agency partners to manage the development of marketing communications and as well as develop longer term brand planning strategy.
Having proven experience working as a Senior Brand Manager in an FMCG environment, your key areas for delivery focus across the following areas: strategic planning, portfolio management, commercial business acumen, NPD, brand communication and lag and lead measures.
- Prior experience working closely with Coles, Woolworths and Independents.
- Prior exposure to Aztec or Nielsen data
- Experience working with new product development using the stage gate process and with managing ATL/BTL brand campaigns
- Experience in managing agency partners
- Strong project management and communication skills
You will be a passionate, energetic, driven and enthusiastic Brand Manager who is analytically and commercially minded. You will have a proactive nature and will be comfortable working with a cross functional team environment and acting as a project lead. You will have exceptional planning and organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
