About the company

Our client is a successful FMCG business with a suite of both heritage and challenger brands across multiple categories within both retail and food service. The portfolio boats over 500 products across various food categories. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to oversee two of the company's premier brands including one which is a category leader and master brand. In addition, identify, assess, develop, and launch new products to market as well as implementing new ways of working around design thinking to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers within their target markets. Due to ongoing growth and increased demand from the market, the business is looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join their team, to help drive this new exciting and innovative direction of the business.

About the role

The role will see you manage and drive the overall brand strategy from a marketing perspective, both from an NPD perspective and brand awareness for the portfolio whilst ensuring all activities remain on brand. The successful candidate will define the strategic objectives for the brand, identifying any potential stretch opportunities from an innovation perspective. In addition, develop and implement marketing programs for both existing and approved new products and business opportunities - including product positioning, launching, pack design, pricing, and support material.

This role will be best suited to a highly organised and high performing Senior Brand Manager with a strong passion for innovation and FMCG. Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant space e.g. Marketing, Commerce or similar
  • 8+ years' experience as Brand Manager/Product Manager
  • Prior experience in marketing communications or brand management within a comparable retail environment
  • A keen interest or exposure to strategy development, NPD/innovation and product development
  • Experience at managing budgets and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), presentation and relationship building skills
