About the role
Reporting to the Customer Director, the primary objective of this role is to be the senior lead for the cross functional activity between sales, marketing & NPD teams in order to develop the category & activation strategies for the retail channel. The successful candidate will formulate this strategy by utilising shopper, consumer and market insights from multiple platforms and information sources, whilst also creating compelling customer presentations to engage key retailers and position the business a market leader in best practice category management and customer marketing. Strategic revenue management responsibilities will also form a part of this role.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a Category Development Manager or Senior National Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. You will possess an understanding of the complexity of the retailer landscape and diverse customers and have a high level of influencing and presentation skills. Ideally degree qualified, you will demonstrate best practice financial & commercial acumen, and have a genuine passion for category, insights & activation management.
