With a core business focus on amplifying each brand uniquely and building a premium digital experience, this is a unique opportunity for a E-commerce Professional to drive significant growth and take these brands to new heights.

About the role

The business is seeking an exceptional E-commerce Manager to join the team of this iconic Australian apparel business and continue to develop the E-commerce strategy both domestically and internally and lead small team, reporting to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Head of Marketing, Merchandise Teams and the Board
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2 direct reports - E-commerce Operations Specialist and E-commerce Coordinator
  • Lead the ecommerce strategy and innovation across 3 ecommerce sites and drive significant revenue growth
  • Work very closely with the external agency on any onsite coding and improvements on regular basis to continue to improve site performance
  • Build the optimisation/ conversion framework, focus on test / learn through A/B testing to drive ongoing improvements
  • Review data on a daily / weekly /monthly basis, identify opportunities onsite to optimise and improve conversion and customer experience
  • Build businesses case for future investment and continue to build out the roadmap and prioritise key initiatives accordingly

What we are looking for

  • Strong E-commerce background, ideally apparel, but open to retail or consumer experience (direct to consumer)
  • Demonstrated experience of driving growth within an e-commerce channel
  • Ideally experience leading a small team, but open to someone where this could potentially be a step up
  • Experience with shopify would be advantageous but not a mandate
  • Experience working with external agencies on site improvements
  • Strong understanding of conversion / optimisation enhancements
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, must be able to take insights and translate into actionable projects / recommendations
  • Customer first focus, thinking in the eyes of the customer / customer service / creating seamless customer experience
  • Strong collaboration skills working with business units holistically with one focus to drive business forward
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve
  • A passion and genuine connection to Australian brands
