About the role
Reporting to the Technical Director, the Electrical Project Engineer is a specialist role that supports a range of business strategies including capital projects, asset management, energy and utilities usage reductions and process improvement actitivities. The role has broad exposure to site based engineering and operations teams, working closely to meet site objectives, as well as senior management on broader business strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing and supporting capital projects from inception to implementation including business case development and submission, equipment selection, contractor management, and installation / commissioning;
- Management and delivery of best practice asset management strategies for electrical and service systems;
- Process improvement and trouble shooting activities in support of manufacturing sites;
- Identifying and deliverying opportunities for energy and utilities usage reduction in line with global trends;
Skills & Experience
The Electrical Project Engineer will be degree qualified in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering and possess experience working in the industrial / manufacturing sector in a similar role. With well developed leadership and influencing skills, as well as experience managing and delivering capital projects and asset management strategies. The ideal candidate can PLC programme and troubleshoot and will have a mindset for safety and quality first.
